The Nolan Ranch has an incredible planting of numerous varietals including the star child - Syrah.
With an incredibly diverse terroir that’s loaded with limestone and fossils, Nolan Ranch Vineyards produces exceptional fruit that many wineries are eager to source from.
This cool climate Syrah was hand harvested and underwent a 30% whole cluster native fermentation with wild yeast. The ferment was managed by gentle punchdowns in one-ton bins for nearly 30 days. This Syrah was aged 14 months in once used 500L French Oak Puncheons.
As always, aura le grand sources fruit from sustainable vineyards. Our wines contain zero sugar and zero additives, besides a touch of sulfur to allow for 10+ years of enjoyment.

This wine displays an elegant earthy style, with chocolate-velvety fruit aromas and hints of pepper. The palate bursts with floral smoothness balanced with crisp acidity. All tied together with dried fruit and accents of smoked game.
The 2020 Syrah pairs well with any outdoor adventure. Preferably steaks cooked over fire, after a long day of exploring.

The Shell Creek Vineyard was planted by the Sinton Family in 1977. The name is derived from layers of marine fossils that are in the hillsides as well as the seasonal creek that runs the length of the canyon where the vineyard is located. Being in the Central Coast area, the days are warm while the nights are cooled by the sea breezes.
This is the third vintage of aura le grand Valdiguie from the epic Shell Creek Vineyard.
This rare hand-harvested varietal was 100% de-stemmed and gently fermented whole berry with native yeast in one-ton bins. The Valdiguié laid to rest for 14 months in neutral French Oak barrels which helped accentuate natural fresh-flowery tones.

This Valdiguie is a pure expression of the rare variety itself: Clean & Fresh.
This wine explodes with bright red-fruit aromatics and flavors of wildflowers. Fresh lilac & violet are replicated on the palate which also boasts crunchy, chalky tannins accented by a juicy long-lasting finish.
The 2020 Valdiguié can be enjoyed anywhere at any time. Pairs exceptionally well with Golden Hour.
